If you've found this website, you already know the sad news that our friend and colleague in the production industry, Robert "Chip" Monk, passed away after a traffic accident on Sunday, November 11, 2007.

What you may not be aware of is that his wife is 6 months pregnant. While the union that Chip belonged to has a small death benefit that will help with some of the immediate expenses, she is now faced with the situation of having no income and will soon have a baby to support.

Many of his friends in the production community have asked, "Is there anything I can do? Just let me know." Well, there is something you can do. You can work a day or two for Chip by donating to a fund to benefit his widow and baby.

Donate as much as you can, but as a suggestion, we ask that you consider an amount equal to one or two of your normal day rates. A few people have even committed to donating 1 day a month for a year. The donation system we've set up is through PayPal and regardless of the amount you give, please know that 100% of the money raised (minus PayPal's service fee) will go directly to his wife. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account in order to donate. A major credit card will suffice. The creation of this website and the hosting of it have been donated and there are no administrative fees of any kind.

Your donation will go directly to help support Chip's wife and baby in their time of need. Thank you for your support.
